Meteor, to close for comfort in Chelyabinsk, Russia.

The shockwave from the meteor explosion destroyed many windows and injured about 1100 citizens with temporary blindness and cuts from the shattered windows of Chelyabinsk, Russia. About 3000 buildings were damaged and 1 million square feet of glass was shattered from the shock wave. The largest reported fragment hit down in a lake outside of the town, it left a 26 foot crater in the ice.
